Criminal Trespass Charge Update (Cause No. 1122-CR03796):
In December 2011, the Criminal Trespass Charge against me, which was maliciously filed by Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine (BJH/WUSM), was finally dismissed with prejudice.

Furthermore, the criminal record BJH/WUSM purposefully and spitefully created against me, by having me wrongfully arrested, detained, and jailed for two days, was also expunged. (Please refer to the bottom of this post for further details.)

BJH/WUSM had relentlessly pursued the bogus Criminal Trespass Charge against me for 6 months, causing my legal defense expenses to total about $40,000.00.

The facts of the case were never in BJH/WUSM’s favor but they callously and unremittingly pressed ahead, and in the process caused me and countless other people undue and unnecessary mental and emotional anguish.

Given that BJH/WUSM are presupposed to be in the business of caring and promoting health/well-being, their actions and activities against me are beyond rationalization and defies any attempt thereof. It appears that something is quite “off” and “unstable” at these institutions; you be the judge.

Notice of Press Conference

Date: January 25, 2012.

Venue: The Steps of St. Louis Circuit Court Civil Division on Market Street.

Time: 11:00 A.M.

Subject: The savage beating of a U.S. Army Reserves' Captain and a Medical Doctor by Barnes Jewish Hospital Security Personnel

Brief Narrative

On January 25, 2012, we will be filing a civil lawsuit against Barnes Jewish Hospital (BJH) and other defendants for the savage beating of United States Army Reserves Capt. Dr. O. Jacobs Alade, whose photos is as above and the video of his savage assault is enclosed in this USB drive.

On July 8, 2011, Capt. Dr. Alade went to BJH (where he was a third-year [PGY-3] resident in psychiatry) to attend to routine administrative tasks and attend a colleague’s retirement party. At the retirement party, he intended to show solidarity to God, Country, and the US Army by wearing his military uniform. In addition to showing solidarity, and as he had done in the past, he engaged in recruitment activities for the US Army Reserves, given the acute shortage of behavioral/mental health providers in the Army. This acute shortage of behavioral/mental health providers in the military is all the more poignant, given the huge number of Traumatic Brian Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders suffered by our troops in the recently concluded wars and the ongoing Global War on Terror.

After attending the party and while calmly seated in his clinic office at the Wohl Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, BJH Security Personnel, under the immediate direction and supervision of a BJH HR Manager, burst into his office and beat him savagely.

In addition to the being beaten, wherein Capt. Dr. Alade suffered intermittent loss of consciousness and severe chest pains, he was stripped of his military uniform, his military boots were forcefully and painfully removed, he was handcuffed, his legs were shackled, and he was forcefully transported to John Cochrane VA Hospital, Saint Louis, MO for “further psychiatric evaluation”; in essence, BJH was looking for ways to psychiatrically commit Capt. Dr. Alade. BJH transported Capt. Dr. Alade to John Cochrane VA Hospital against his will, in spite of the acute injuries BJH Security Personnel inflicted on him, and his pleadings to be taken to the BJH Emergency Department, which was two flights below his office clinic.

During the assault and battery on Capt. Dr. Alade’s person, the BJH HR Manager, who was observing and directing BJH Security Personnel, crouched down to Capt. Dr. Alade’s eye level, made some racial epithet, and spat on Capt. Dr. Alade’s face. This same BJH HR Manager further directed the BJH Security Personnel to seize and withhold Capt. Dr. Alade’s personal laptop and other personal belongings.

When no psychiatrist could diagnose Capt. Dr. Alade with a mental disorder (because he had none and no history therefore), he was released from the emergency department. On July 9, 2011 Capt. Dr. Alade went to BJH with his brother to retrieve his laptop. When he was told that his laptop will not be released, he proceeded to leave. Unknown to him, however, BJH Security personnel were tracking him with their camera while he was on BJH premises, they proceeded to intercept him, and, once again, they beat him up. (Please see the video clip attached herein.) As indicated on the video, Capt. Dr. Alade was unarmed and posed no threat to any person or property. Capt. Dr. Alade has always been a professional.

After beating Capt. Dr. Alade, BJH then charged him with assaulting about six to eight BJH Security Officers and a first degree trespass. Then the hospital falsely told the FBI that Capt. Dr. Alade worships Osama bin Laden and that the Fort Hood alleged shooter, Major Hassan is his hero. None of these malicious and false allegations are true and after extensive investigation, FBI cleared Capt. Dr. Alade.
